London Landmarks Half Marathon (LLHM) is proud to announce that Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has renewed their partnership for the 2026 event.

To mark the occasion, RBC has donated ten runner places to each of their three regional Signature Charity partners: Trees for Cities, The Kings Trust, and Ronald McDonald House Charities UK. They will join more than 200 Team RBC runners – including 50 employees who are running to support pregnancy and baby charity Tommy’s, the proud organisers of the LLHM.
By participating in the London Landmarks Half Marathon, supporters of Trees for Cities, The Kings Trust, and Ronald McDonald House will be challenging themselves while raising vital funds for causes that matter to them. Whether running to support urban greening, youth empowerment, or family health and wellbeing, this half marathon offers a unique way to make a difference.
The partnership with these charities and LLHM, reflects RBC’s Purpose of helping clients thrive and communities prosper and their commitment to make 2 billion Canadian dollars in community investments by 2035.
As a major supporter of running events globally - including RBC Race for the Kids, a family fun run series that has raised over 115 million Canadian dollars since 2009 and the RBC Brooklyn Half sponsorship - they believe in the power of sport to bring communities together and drive meaningful change.
Lia Fyles, London Landmarks Race Director, expressed her excitement about the partnership, saying: “We are absolutely delighted to continue our partnership with Royal Bank of Canada. We have a shared belief in the importance of running to improve lives on many levels, not only physical and mental health, but the ability to support a broad range of community initiatives through fundraising. We are proud to be working with Royal Bank of Canada to showcase the impact running can make.”
Kat Ross, Director of Fundraising at Trees for Cities: “We were thrilled to be given the opportunity to form a team of runners in the London Landmarks Half Marathon, which we wouldn't have been able to do without RBC. The funds raised by our incredible LLHM runners will directly support Trees for Cities’ work to green urban spaces and improve community wellbeing. Every pound helps us plant and care for trees in the areas that need them most, create vibrant community woodlands, and deliver school based planting projects that connect children with nature. Our partnership with RBC is transforming what’s possible for urban communities. RBC’s funds, volunteers and networks help us to work at a national scale and, together, we’re helping to create greener, healthier, and more resilient cities for future generations.”
“Thanks to RBC’s long-standing support empowering young people to build skills for a brighter future. For seven years, RBC has been a vital partner of The King’s Trust Enterprise Programme, helping young people launch their own businesses. Their support has enabled aspiring entrepreneurs across the UK to build confidence, gain practical skills, and turn their ideas into reality – creating long-term impact.”Shared Tom Lamb, Director of Corporate Partnerships, The King’s Trust.
Ella Joseph, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities UK: “We are grateful to RBC for offering places for London Landmarks Half Marathon to those wishing to fundraise for Ronald McDonald House Charities UK. Our runners have raised around £2,500 before the event with some aiming to raise £1,000 each as they know how invaluable our Houses are by providing families somewhere close to their child in hospital to cook, wash their clothes, rest and sleep. Three of our runners are taking part as they truly understand the need and impact that having a House provided their family, friend or colleague. One runner is a past family when we supported them in our Southampton House over 10 years ago whilst their child had surgery, one is running in memory of her friend’s son whose family stayed in our Evelina House and the other saw his colleague be supported to not only care for her baby but also support them as parents to keep on working.”
Desiree Clarke Noble, Head of Citizenship & Impact, RBC Capital Markets and RBC Europe (and keen runner) said: “Sport has an extraordinary ability to unite people around a shared purpose. By running the London Landmarks Half Marathon alongside our Signature Charity partners, we're not just supporting individual causes - we're strengthening the social fabric of communities across the UK. Every mile run, every pound raised, represents RBC's commitment to being a force for positive change. We're proud to stand alongside Trees for Cities, The King's Trust, and Ronald McDonald House as they continue their vital work, and we're excited to see what 20,000+ participants will achieve together on race day.”
About the London Landmarks Half Marathon
London Landmark’s Half Marathon is organised by the pregnancy and baby charity, Tommy’s. The first event was launched back in 2018 to raise money to help save babies’ lives and make pregnancy and birth safer. The event now also supports over 800 other charities to raise money for so many important causes.
The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed road, central London run and is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and City of Westminster. The event is proud to deliver a pan-London community engagement programme and involves London-wide schools, boroughs, community groups, cultural organisations, sports clubs and businesses in both event development and on the day. About The King’s Trust (formerly The Prince’s Trust*)
The King’s Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed, no matter what their background or the challenges they are facing. We help those from disadvantaged communities and those facing the greatest adversity to develop the confidence and skills they need to find work.
The courses offered by The Trust help young people aged 11-30 to develop essential life skills, get ready for work and access job opportunities. We support them to find work because having a job or running a business can lead to a more stable, fulfilling life.
Throughout 2026, The Trust will celebrate its 50th anniversary. Since it was founded by HM The King in 1976, when he was HRH The Prince of Wales, The Trust has helped more than 1.3 million young people across the UK. At least £11.4bn of social value can be attributed directly to the impact of our programmes over the last fifty years, and every new 10,000 young people we support could bring societal benefits of £105m.
As we look ahead to the next 50 years, we remain committed to ending youth unemployment and enabling many more young people to create a better future for themselves.
* In 2024, we were pleased to change our name to The King’s Trust, reflecting our Royal Founding President’s continued dedication to our work.
