WHAT IS THE LOCAL LANDMARKS CHALLENGE?

It is with a heavy heart that we sadly announce it is not possible for LLHM 2020 to be postponed and so will be fully cancelled. We understand this is incredibly disappointing news for everyone who was due to take part this year. It is not a decision we wanted to make but we know you will understand why the event cannot take place this year and now cancellation is our only option as this is in the best interests of your health and safety.

For everyone who would still like to earn their exclusive LLHM 2020 medal, make the most of their training and continue to support their chosen charity we've created The Local Landmarks Challenge. The challenge is a solo, virtual run, around your local landmarks. Your local landmarks could be anything from your local church, castle, park, statue or even post-box.

The challenge is open to everyone, whether you have a place in LLHM 2020 or not. Distances over 5k qualify for the challenge and you can run the total distance over multiple runs and multiple days. The challenge doesn't have to be completed in one go and we encourage you to continue to fundraise for your charity whilst taking part.

UPDATE: The original finish date for the challenge was 3rd May, but we're delighted to confirm that the challenge has been extended until 7th June. To complete your challenge and claim your Local Landmarks Challenge medal, please submit a photo of your challenge by 7th June.
